The Island of Capri by Boat
A leisurely, 3 hour tour around the island of Capri, with time for a swim in hidden coves and visits to the lesser-known sea grottoes.
The service was faultless and Gianni gave me some really invaluable insider information about the island!Giamma from TripAdvisor

Ciao, I'm Gianni and I'm a sailor, a very special kind of sailor! The holidaymakers who board my boat are not passengers but friends, friends eager to explore the sea surrounding Capri, Italy.
I'm a lucky guy. I do the thing that I love most - sailing the sea surrounding Capri - every single day! And with my boat tours, I get the chance to share this love with people from all four corners of the world!
And for all my passengers: a toast with ice-cold limoncello. Not the type you'll find in the supermarket, but rather the limoncello which my "mamma" Rita makes with the lemons growing in our garden!

My private boat tour company is called Gianni's boat because when I first started sailing around the island of Capri in my own boat, it was out of passion rather than to make a living. In the 1990's, I became famous for my "Gozzo Parties", which drew the crowds from all over Italy. At the time, I was studying economics at the University of Naples but I soon realized that the financial world was not for me and that all I really wanted to do was sail. That's when I decided to transform my favorite hobby into a career and Gianni's Boat was born.
Today I have 10 gozzi sorrentini boats measuring between 7 and 10 meters, all with sun deck and awning, packed mini bar, safety jackets for adults and children, and plenty of fresh, comfortable cushions (which my "mamma", Rita, insists on washing - by hand!).
I couldn't do what I do without the help of my family...a family which, instead of blood, has the salty water of the sea coursing through its veins! We came to the island of Capri on holiday more than 20 years ago and we loved the place so much, we decided to settle here.
My dad owned a Riva Acquarama motorboat in which, from the tender age of 16, he sailed the seas of the Bay of Naples. One of my uncles is a decorated member of the Italian Naval League and had the honor of being the skipper for members of the British royal family and for Jackie Kennedy when they visited the Bay of Naples. Another uncle was a champion canoeist.
